Syndicate Ships

These are the guys you'll be gunning down the most (and vise versa). They are all hostile and will attack either immediately or if provoked.

Syndicate Skirmisher

Stats:

Hull: 8

Shields: 1

Engine Power: 30

Tips:

  • These are the weakest manned Syndicate vessels, so dispatching with your phase cannon shouldn't be all that hard.
  • They're small, and salvage will be minimal, but they're good to salvage in small groups.

Syndicate Ravager

EEEEE

Stats:

Hull: 40

Shields: 3

Engine Power: 5

Tips:

  • you're dead kiddo
  • The MAC is very important to use against this beast, particularly the shield piercing rounds.
  • It's okay to retreat to another system; these things are ridiculous to kill and you'll definitely have a few holes in your ship after an encounter.

SolGov Ships

These ships are neutral by default and will not attack you unless you attack. It isn't recommended that you attack since the moment you do, all of SolGov will be hostile. On top of this, it's also against the rules unless an admin gives you the go-ahead.

Sparrow Attack Craft

Layout:

ERE

Stats:

Hull: 3

Shields: 1

Engine Power: 70

Tips:

  • These ships have some of the highest engine power, meaning you won't be landing many hits. Careful.
  • They fire fast but they take forever to repair; take your time.

Pirate Ships

Pirates want anything they can get their hands on, and your ship happens to have quite a bit of useful loot which is why they're going to blow all of it up instead of boarding. Regardless, Pirates are more often than not ill-equipped and easy to dispatch.

Pirate Clanker

Layout:

WCW
SRS
EEE

Stats:

Hull: 10

Shields: 1

Engine Power: 15

Tips:

  • Given the name, this ship is built from parts of other ships. Who knows, maybe some valuable ship parts are in there!
  • Pirates, unfortunately, are hard to come by. If you get a pirate kill mission, it may be a good idea to adminhelp it.

Nanotrasen Ships

good job you accidentally shot one of your own ships and everyone hates you Perhaps you called in to Centcom to request backup and they've responded saying they'll meet you at the next beacon! Hooray! Here's what you can expect from your allies.

Patrol Corvette

Layout:

WHW
ERE

Stats:

Hull: 10

Shields: 1

Engine Power: 25

Tips:

  • These guys are meant to fire fast, giving you a nice edge in battle
  • This shouldn't have to be a tip but it is: DON'T SHOOT THEM!!!

Patrol Frigate

Layout:

H H
WCW
ERE

Stats:

Hull: 15

Shields: 2

Engine Power: 20

Tips:

  • This ship was the reason why the Ravager was made. Beware!
  • It might be a good idea to ask for these ships in particular in your Centcom report.

Universal Ships

These ships can be used by pretty much any faction!

Patrol Drone

Layout:

EDE

Stats:

Hull: 3

Shields: NONE

Engine Power: 30

Tips:

  • These are common and, given that they have no shields, can be destroyed in the blink of an eye.
  • Drones usually follow a ship around, keep this in mind.

Small Freighter

Layout:

HWH
HCH
RES

Stats:

Hull: 15

Shields: 1

Engine Power: 10

Tips:

  • Since it's a freighter, you can expect a generous amount of loot. Make sure you don't hit the hull!
  • Despite the high hull, it moves very slowly and can barely defend save for quick recharging shields.

Large Freighter

Layout:

WCW
EHS
HHH
HHH
ERE

Stats:

Hull: 30

Shields: 1

Engine Power: 5

Tips:

  • These guys are real big and a lot of your shots will hit. Again, avoid hitting the hull.
  • It may be worth investing a MAC round to ensure that they are destroyed before they jump.
